Das Lokal zum “Jahr der Kartoffel”
Wir befinden uns bekanntlich im “Jahr der Kartoffel”. Welcher Kulinarik-Tipp könnte da besser passen als Kärntens einzige – zumindest uns bekannte - “Patateria”? Das “Ofenloch” in Seeboden am Millstättersee setzt schon seit Jahren auf die Kartoffel. Hier werden die Erdäpfel sozusagen in allen Aggregatzuständen kredenzt: Als Suppe (2,90 Euro), als Salat, als Beilage, als süße Kartoffelnudeln zum Dessert (4,90 Euro) und logischerweise als der Hauptact am Teller – in Form von Ofenerdäpfeln, mit Fleisch, Gemüse, Fisch und feinen Saucen kombiniert (ab 4,90 Euro). Xund und bekömmlich sind die Knollen angeblich sowieso….
Das Ofenloch ist ganzjährig offen und tischt täglich ab 18 Uhr auf, außer sonntags, da ist Ruhetag. Zu finden mitten in Seeboden, Hauptstraße 85.

Als bekennender Verteidiger der “Erdäpfel” muss ich den Kärntenblog rügen… Es gibt in Kärnten (bzw. in ganz Österreich) keine “Kartoffeln”. Ein Blick auf die Online-Speisekarte verrät sogar, dass das Lokal ausschließlich Erdäpfel serviert! Trotzdem wird das ausländische Knollengewächs “Kartoffel” in diesem Beitrag viermal genannt, die in Kärnten verbreiterten “Erdäpfel” dagegen nur zweimal. Wenn das so weitergeht, müssen die “Kärnten”-Blogger des Landes verwiesen werden!

Für ausländische Leser dieses Blogs kann die Nennung von deutschen Wörtern nur von Vorteil sein – wobei ich gerne auch die österreichischen Bezeichnungen lerne! Ein toller Tipp das Lokal, da lohnt sich doch die Fahrt nach Kärnten gleich doppelt
